عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: "كُنْت خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم يَوْمًا، فَقَالَ: يَا غُلَامِ! إنِّي أُعَلِّمُك كَلِمَاتٍ: احْفَظْ اللَّهَ يَحْفَظْك، احْفَظْ اللَّهَ تَجِدْهُ تُجَاهَك، إذَا سَأَلْت فَاسْأَلْ اللَّهَ، وَإِذَا اسْتَعَنْت فَاسْتَعِنْ بِاَللَّهِ، وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ الْأُمَّةَ لَوْ اجْتَمَعَتْ عَلَى أَنْ يَنْفَعُوك بِشَيْءٍ لَمْ يَنْفَعُوك إلَّا بِشَيْءٍ قَدْ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ لَك، وَإِنْ اجْتَمَعُوا عَلَى أَنْ يَضُرُّوك بِشَيْءٍ لَمْ يَضُرُّوك إلَّا بِشَيْءٍ قَدْ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْك؛ رُفِعَتْ الْأَقْلَامُ، وَجَفَّتْ الصُّحُفُ" . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ [رقم:2516] وَقَالَ: حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ. وَفِي رِوَايَةِ غَيْرِ التِّرْمِذِيِّ: "احْفَظْ اللَّهَ تَجِدْهُ أمامك، تَعَرَّفْ إلَى اللَّهِ فِي الرَّخَاءِ يَعْرِفُك فِي الشِّدَّةِ، وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ مَا أَخْطَأَك لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيُصِيبَك، وَمَا أَصَابَك لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيُخْطِئَك، وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ النَّصْرَ مَعَ الصَّبْرِ، وَأَنْ الْفَرَجَ مَعَ الْكَرْبِ، وَأَنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

عن عبد الله بن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال: "كنت خلف رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم يوما، فقال: يا غلام! اني اعلمك كلمات: احفظ الله يحفظك، احفظ الله تجده تجاهك، اذا سالت فاسال الله، واذا استعنت فاستعن بالله، واعلم ان الامة لو اجتمعت على ان ينفعوك بشيء لم ينفعوك الا بشيء قد كتبه الله لك، وان اجتمعوا على ان يضروك بشيء لم يضروك الا بشيء قد كتبه الله عليك؛ رفعت الاقلام، وجفت الصحف" . رواه الترمذي [رقم:2516] وقال: حديث حسن صحيح. وفي رواية غير الترمذي: "احفظ الله تجده امامك، تعرف الى الله في الرخاء يعرفك في الشدة، واعلم ان ما اخطاك لم يكن ليصيبك، وما اصابك لم يكن ليخطيك، واعلم ان النصر مع الصبر، وان الفرج مع الكرب، وان مع العسر يسرا

আবূ আব্বাস আব্দুল্লাহ্ ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ) ​একদিন আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম)-এর পিছনে ছিলাম, তিনি আমাকে বললেনঃ "হে যুবক! আমি তোমাকে কয়েকটি কথা শেখাবো- আল্লাহকে সংরক্ষণ করবে [২] তো তিনি তোমাকে সংরক্ষণ করবেন, আল্লাহকে স্মরণ করলে তাঁকে তোমার সামনেই পাবে। যখন কিছু চাইবে তো আল্লাহর কাছেই চাইবে; যখন সাহায্য চাইবে তো আল্লাহর কাছেই সাহায্য চাইবে। জেনে রাখ, সমস্ত মানুষ যদি তোমার কোন উপকার করতে চায় তবে আল্লাহ্ তোমার জন্য যা নির্দিষ্ট করে দিয়েছেন, তা ব্যতীত আর কোন উপকার করতে পারবে না। আর যদি সমস্ত মানুষ তোমার কোন অনিষ্ট করতে চায় তবে আল্লাহ্ তোমার জন্য যা নির্দিষ্ট করে দিয়েছেন তা ব্যতীত আর কোন অনিষ্ট করতে পারবে না। কলম তুলে নেয়া হয়েছে এবং পৃষ্ঠা শুকিয়ে গেছে।" [তিরমিযীঃ ২৫১৬, হাদীসটি সহীহ্ (হাসান) বলেছেন।] তিরমিযী ছাড়া অন্য বর্ণনায় বলা হয়েছেঃ "আল্লাহকে স্মরণ করবে তো তাঁকে তোমার সম্মুখে পাবে, তুমি স্বচ্ছল অবস্থায় আল্লাহকে স্মরণ করবে তো তিনি তোমাকে কঠিন অবস্থায় স্মরণ করবেন। মনে রেখো- যা তুমি পেলে না, তা তোমার পাবার ছিল না, আর যা তুমি পেলে তা তুমি না পেয়ে থাকতে না। আরো জেনে রাখো- ধৈর্য্য ধারণের ফলে (আল্লাহর) সাহায্য লাভ করা যায়। কষ্টের পর স্বাচ্ছন্দ আসে। কঠিন অবস্থার পর স্বচ্ছলতা আসে।

On the authority of Abu Abbas Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: One day I was behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) [riding on the same mount] and he said, “O young man, I shall teach you some words [of advice]: Be mindful of Allah and Allah will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him in front of you. If you ask, then ask Allah [alone]; and if you seek help, then seek help from Allah [alone]. And know that if the nation were to gather together to benefit you with anything, they would not benefit you except with what Allah had already prescribed for you. And if they were to gather together to harm you with anything, they would not harm you except with what Allah had already prescribed against you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.” It was related by at-Tirmidhi, who said it was a good and sound hadeeth. Another narration, other than that of Tirmidhi, reads: Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him in front of you. Recognize and acknowledge Allah in times of ease and prosperity, and He will remember you in times of adversity. And know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and hardship with ease

Selon Abou ‘Abbas Abdallah ibn ‘Abbas (qu’Allah l’agrée), qui a dit : Un jour, j’étais derrière le Prophète (ﷺ) [sur la même monture] et il m’a dit : « Jeune homme, je vais t’apprendre quelques paroles : Préserve Allah, Il te préservera. Préserve Allah, tu Le trouveras devant toi. Si tu demandes, demande à Allah ; si tu cherches secours, cherche-le auprès d’Allah. Sache que si toute la communauté se réunissait pour t’apporter un bénéfice, elle ne pourrait te bénéficier que de ce qu’Allah a déjà décrété pour toi. Et si elle se réunissait pour te nuire, elle ne pourrait te nuire que par ce qu’Allah a déjà écrit contre toi. Les plumes sont levées et les feuillets sont secs. » Rapporté par at-Tirmidhi, qui l’a qualifié de bon et authentique. Dans une autre version : Préserve Allah, tu Le trouveras devant toi. Reconnais Allah dans l’aisance, Il te reconnaîtra dans la difficulté. Sache que ce qui t’a manqué ne devait pas t’atteindre, et ce qui t’a atteint ne devait pas te manquer. Sache que la victoire vient avec la patience, l’issue avec l’épreuve, et la facilité avec la difficulté
